The Account Executive is responsible for creating new sales/business relationships and driving organic growth opportunities within our existing national accounts.  This role supports client objectives by working closely with Insights and Product Managers to launch programs, report findings, and make recommendations. The Account Executive is a collaborative teammate often working with Finance, Technology Development and other stakeholders to enhance product and service offerings and deploy strategic initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A. or B.S. in business, marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in account management and/or sales.
  • Additional coursework or certification in management, sales, or marketing preferred.
  • Experience with managing multiple house accounts/new sales relationships at once, experience in the grocery vertical as well as experience with Fortune 500 companies a plus.
  • Knowledge of key concepts in quantitative methods.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, for internal and external use.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex documents: experience with determining compelling business insights from market research data a huge plus.
  • Experience in understanding and negotiating contracts.
  • Able to write presentations and manuals using original or innovative techniques or style while complying with company standardization.
  • Prior experience with:
    • New product development
    • Negotiation skills
    • Account and/or client management experience required
    • Market research program design a plus (e.g., questionnaire development, ability to clearly articulate scope of work requirements, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stated customer initiated deadlines.
  • Success in the leading and managing of people in a team-based environment.
  • Must be comfortable presenting both sales presentations and/or research presentations in front of large groups including C-Level Executives.
  • Must be detail-oriented and deadline driven.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation: Base + Commission
